All maintained school governing bodies and academy trusts have a legal duty to provide all of the governance information requested on this page in so far as it is available to them.
This will increase the transparency of governance arrangements. It will enable schools and the department to identify more quickly and accurately individuals who are involved in governance, and who govern in more than one context.

Delegated authority of local governing body
The NUSAT Board is responsible for the financial management of the academies within the Trust to ensure the best education for students. This policy statement specifies the decisions of the NUSAT Board with regard to which financial functions it chooses to delegate to a committee and which to an individual. The NUSAT Board is accountable for all actions taken in its name by individuals or committees to which it has delegated any function. Where responsibility has been delegated, all decisions and actions taken will be recorded. The NUSAT Board retains the authority to revoke or vary any delegated function at any time but will communicate any such revocation or delegation to the relevant committee or individual.
